The process

Measurments

We will schedule a time to meet with you to take a few measurements. Once there, we'll discuss your job to best understand what your project needs are.

 

Material Selection 

After we've measured your countertops we'll assist you in the material selection process. It is at this point that we'll view and discuss color selections.

 

Extras and options 

Our staff will then go over edge details, cut outs, differences in undermount and top mount sinks and associated costs involved in each option.

 

Finalizing the Contract 

After the materials have been selected and options decided on we will create your estimate. We will review your choices together.  It will clearly spell out the upcoming scope of work and all costs associated with your project.  Your estimate will be an all inclusive contract. We will not ask for any additional monies from you unless the scope of work or materials required to complete the job changes. 

 

Signatures & Deposits

Now that we have a signed contract, a 50% deposit is required to proceed with your project. The balance will be do upon completion and or delivery of your project.

 

Final Material Selection

Depending on your material choices, you may wish to hand select your material.  When you're ready, we'll make arrangements for you to visit one of our stone supplier yards. Remember to let them know Granite Specialist is your fabricator. 

 

Demo and Templating

Once your material has been secured we can schedule your demo and installation dates. We will arrange to tear out and haul away your old countertops (if required as part of the scope of work). Then we will create a custom template of your counters (not all jobs require a template to complete the fabrication process).

 

Installation 

Installation will generally be scheduled 5-7 days after templates and or measuring are compelted. 

 

Final Payment

Final payment is due upon completion of installation.
